Since 2010, the Residential Swimming Pool Safety Regulation adopted by the provincial government has established standards to ensure the safety of swimming pools with a depth of more than 60 centimeters of water and spas that can hold more than 2,000 liters of water. It is the responsibility of the municipality to enforce this regulation. Please consult the summary document outlining the standards of the regulations (Available in French only) for municipal residents.
