Work done by Hydro-Québec

We would like to inform you that Hydro-Québec will be carrying out major vegetation control work in various parts of the municipality over the next few months. The work will involve clearing, cutting branches and felling trees of species that are incompatible with the power grid or at risk of falling on the wires during weather events.

This work will be carried out within the distribution network's rights-of-way to reduce its vulnerability, and consequently improve the quality of service in the municipality. In some cases, residues may be left on the ground, in compliance with the standards governing such work and designed to promote biodiversity.
