In order to protect bodies of water from invasive exotic species and in a spirit of maintaining the quality and protection of its numerous lakes and rivers in the territory (more than 3,200 in total) several municipalities have decided to put forward boat washing stations.

In total, there are more than 9 washing stations in the area. Users are therefore strongly encouraged to use them before their water activity when traveling from one body of water to another.
